The microcontroller is Cypress PSoC4. It can read digital guitar tabs. Bluetooth is supported for control/guitar tab upload. The Electromagnetics array presses the strings. 3D-printed TPU “fingers” work with servos to pluck the strings.
Project for my ECE362 (Microprocessor Systems and Interfacing) at Purdue. I love this class and TAed it for 3 semesters.
Principle: persistence of vision. With a single RGB LED stripe, a colorful display is on a bike wheel!
